Baljeet Sodhi
Baljeet Sodhi came to Canada from India in May 2007. He heard about HCR through a friend and was registered and out working by August of that year. Baljeet was hired full time by an HCR client as a production worker.
While continuing to work full time, Baljeet kept busy studying for his CGA designation. He has received honours distinctions.
Baljeet continues to recommend HCR to his friends and family members.
Gener Remulla
Gener Remulla came to Canada from the Philippines in 1997. Before discovering HCR, Gener worked with another staffing agency, but was not pleased with his experience. "The agency was disappointing and not as professional as HCR," he noted. Gener explained that he thought HCR’s orientation was very helpful; especially the health and safety portion.
Gener was hired permanently by an HCR client. He enjoys it, and says that it is the best job he has had so far. He recommends HCR to friends and family because, "All of the people in the HCR office are easy to talk to, courteous, polite and treat the employees with respect."
Vinodchandra Parmar
HCR was not the first agency that Vinod worked with when he first arrived in Canada – however it was the second and last agency he worked with as he became employed full time as a result of his experience with HCR. Vinod learned about HCR from surfing the Internet. "I was working with another agency for about two weeks before and I wasn’t really happy," said Vinod. "I found HCR on the Internet and called right away. The staff was very helpful. They offered me a good job with good hours and better pay."
Within two years, Vinod was hired full time as a machine operator and was then promoted to production supervisor. Vinod, who aspires to be a general manager one day, thanks HCR for their support as they helped him "get his foot in the door" to finding a job with a reputable company.
Paul Pattison
Paul Pattison speaks from experience when he offers words of encouragement to temporary employees. Thirteen years ago, Paul was a temporary employee with HCR. Since then, he was hired full time as a manufacturing technician and then promoted to leadhand and later to his current role of supervisor. "I tell temporary employees what I used to tell myself," says Paul. His advice for success:
