If a coworker experiences a coronavirus infection, you need to get tested and self-quarantine until you receive the results of your assessment. In this scenario, you should notify family members and others to get tested as well if you have recently come into close contact with them.
Although a sick coworker may inadvertently go to work, you should try to empathize with this employee. Remember, the coronavirus pandemic affects people globally, and each individual is doing their part to get through the crisis. Rather than assign blame, try to support your coworker and help him or her and your employer in any way possible.
